parshat tetzaveh

hope you enjoy this wonderful parsha. this week we learn that only the first press of olives are used for lighting the menorah in the Temple. however, i learned that it was the oil that came from the mere weight of olives on each other that was collected for this use. and only one place in israel were the olives taken for this oil- in the northern town called kadita, near tzfat-the capitol for kabbalah and mystical judaism. remember, gevalt on tuesdays at 6:30pm, sask time!!
