What Planet Is This?! Show #27 (I think)

    What Planet Is This?!
Hooray! It’s Tuesday! That means I get to run desperately to the radio station to get there just in time to push “play” and make up a bunch of stuff to say!
    I like Tuesday!
Lots of great music lined up again. First, however, let me just say: I wish Frank Zappa had more radio friendly tunes! As much as I would love to play Bobby Brown Goes Down, I’d also like to be able to continue running a show on Regina Community Radio. Bah! Whatchagonnado?
Tonight you can expect some new Deep Dark Woods, new Dosh, some great jazz from Cannonball Adderly (hopefully for sure this time), Dave Young & Oscar Peterson playing Duke Ellington, and if there’s time, one of my favorite Charles Mingus tracks. There are plenty of other possibilities as well, but those are the ones I want to play the most. If you’ve never heard What Planet Is This?! before, give it a try. You may not like everything I play, but you will like something!
Oh yeah, before I forget, check out this week’s question (what is your favorite type of music?). If you get your answer in before 4:30 today, I’ll read it on the show!
