Naval Aviation In Audio Gets Misanthopic … Again?

On Wednesday, August 29, 9-10 pm, Naval Aviation In Audio will feature a live reading from the Penguin Classics edition of Le Comte de Lautreamont’s scandalous 19th Century masterpiece Chants de Maldoror (English translation by Paul Knight). With a soundtrack that might include instrumental works by Bill Laswell, Secret Saucer, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and/or Iancu Dumitrscu, along with tracks by punkoid misanthrope bands such as SNFU, Forbidden Dimension, GWAR, and/or the Dayglo Abortions, NAIA promises to render the perverse extremities of Lautremamont, the satanism and criminality of his insolent monologues, faithfully, over the heavenly airwaves. A good time will be had by all.
