Canadian Country Greats Highlight The Bookender Spotlight On The Prairie Lily Special For The Summer Of ’17

In celebration of Canada’s 150th year of confederation, The Prairie Lily Special (Saturdays 6 to 8 pm CST) designates it’s stretch of programs this summer as “Canadian Country Summer.” For an eleven week period starting June 24th and ending September 2nd, seven Canadian Country legends will be featured on The Bookender Spotlight throughout the balmy months. They are:

June 24th – Hal Lone Pine
July 1st (Canada Day) & 8th – Evan Kemp
July 15th – Keray Regan
July 22nd & 29th – Donn Reynolds
August 5th & 12th – Allen Erwin (The Calgary Kid)
August 19th – Hank LaRiviere (aka Hank Rivers)
August 26th & September 2nd (Labour Day Weekend) – Stu Davis

All recordings to be heard featuring these performers during Canadian Country Summer have NOT been aired previously on the show. Celebrate Canada’s rich history and tradition in Country Music by tuning in to TPLS during this special set of summertime shows!
