Tune in every Monday evening at 6pm for Black to the Future!
“Black to the future is a radio show that bears witness to and celebrates the experiences of Queer and Trans Black folks across the prairies. During this show, we examine our relationship to this space. We hear about the experiences of disassociation, confusion, grief, discovery, and joy. My hope for this show is to explore prairie experiences that are routinely erased…and we have a few laughs along the way.”
Black to the Future started off as a Plain A.I.R. month-long artist residency in July 2020 and we’re so pleased to announce the program is now a part of our regular schedule.

Jaye has always been interested in how Black folks have influenced contemporary dance culture. Jaye is curious and terrified of exploring improvisation in contemporary dance; which makes dance a little more interesting. While simultaneously excited and afraid, Performance is their first love. While he’s not dancing, Jaye enjoys teaching youth about the world around them.
