91.3fm CJTR is proud to announce a new partnership with our northern Neighbour, 90.5 CFCR, Saskatoon Community Radio! Starting in January, Plain A.I.R. will be broadcast on both CJTR and CFCR! You can still tune in at 3pm Saturdays on CJTR to catch Plain A.I.R., but you can now tune in in Saskatoon at 11am on Saturdays. We will be alternating between Regina and Saskatoon
artists to share the magic of the Saskatchewan arts and music scene with everyone! We’re also proud to announce that SaskMusic has generously sponsored this program. Tune in in January to hear COSMOS with Micah + Peace, and hear them chat about interdisciplinary arts, and the intersectionality of the Saskatoon scene! Big thanks to our volunteer Plain A.I.R. coordinator, Holly Gilroy.
This March, the Plain A.I.R. artist-in-residence is local super group People of the Sun! People of the Sun is all about co-creating, co-llaboration, co-ol music. In our residency, governed by names drawn from a hat, all eight of us will have the chance to interview a member of our band, and in turn be interviewed. Listeners will get to know us and dig into the sounds that inspire the band.
