Testimonials

We think that membership is a great way to support CJTR, and we aren’t alone! Here’s what some of our members and programmers have to say about it:

As a member, I had the opportunity to learn about non-profit agencies, to learn about how to volunteer and serve on a board, and how to contribute to the station ‘family’ and the Regina community

Community stations are places where community members can come into relation and exchange ideas, and they are also places where people can “get their feet wet” in terms of media production in a low stakes, supportive environment…. I believe community radio stations are truly democratic in that they support all community members in media production and allow a community to come to know itself better.

The station has made me feel connected to the community in ways I never expected. Community radio is such an important voice, and needs to remain independent and free! Thank you CJTR!

The station fills a unique role in our community that enriches both volunteers and listeners, serving as a home to diverse, creative programming that we’d never get to make otherwise. I take so much pride in contributing to a station that gives the community a voice.

I am now pursuing a career change into the music industry and my involvement with CJTR has been a big part of that journey. So I have gained growth, confidence, pride, and a direction going forward because of CJTR.
