- Wake and Break – (7-9am) RADIOTHON 2019 Kick Off Show! “The Wake & Break Radiothon Variety Hour!” Host Ben Valiaho plays fun and funky jams while welcoming an array of guests including SaskGalleries and more!
- Gender Talk (11am-12pm): Gender Talk is the voice and source for everything related to gender diversity in Saskatchewan.
- Indigenous Vibes (12pm-1pm): Indigenous peoples’ positive stories within the community, hosted by Elvie Stonechild!
- The Monkey’s Paw (3-4pm): Staff and volunteer run volunteer-training show! This week the notorious Nick Faye is in the host’s chair.
- Boss Radio! (4-6pm): “The Spirit of ’66” The Radiothon 2019 Edition of Boss Radio (which can be heard from 4 to 6 pm CST, Friday, September 20th on 91.3 FM CJTR, The CJTR App, streaming on www.cjtr.ca and Cable through Access Ch. 700 and Max Ch. 806) takes you back to the wondrous Autumn Of 1966, when the Saskatchewan Roughriders finally brought the Grey Cup home in their ninth attempt at doing so. You’ll hear The Top Twenty Singles from this historic day alongside twelve of the top charting Canadian singles of 1966 (most of which have never been heard before on ‘Boss’). Enjoy the enduring warm n’ fuzzies from that apocryphal day (Whether you were around at that time…OR NOT!) while supporting People Powered Radio…and don’t forget to pledge!
- Pickin’ It Country (6-8pm): Reg Wilke interviews singer Carroll Baker, who’s celebrating 50 years in Country Music!
- All-Day Breakfast (7-9pm): Hosts (and brothers) Eric Hill and Ryan Hill play an eclectic mix of electronic, hip hop, pop, space and folk.
- Daebak (9-11pm): Regina’s only K-pop program hosted by Jo and Erika! The Radiothon theme this year is A BTS quiz show! Tune in for trivia, prizes and more!
- The Dishpit (11pm-1am): Punk music with Captain Anarchy! Psychobilly, rockabilly, old school, pure punk rock radio!

- It’s Time (6-8am): Catholic news and views both locally and around the world.
- The Jubilee Gospel Show (8-10am): Two hour long, Caribbean Gospel Song Special! Tune in for special guests! Hosted by Paulette Dey and Co-Hosted Milly Contreras, the weekly music lists consist of music by Canadians and International Christian Artists.
- Deeper Well (10-11am): Host Brenda Tacik plays excellent folk and roots based music. The shows theme is “Songs to Disturb the Comfortable and Comfort the Disturbed.”

- Plain A.I.R. (3-4pm): Artist-in-residence GRIND CENTRAL RECORDS play lots of TUNES! Co-hosted by Chris Dimas and Gage Maguire.
- The Capitol (4-6pm): Host Dane Imrie plays the ‘Best Songs Of 2019 so far! Also, anyone who donates $10 or more to Radiothon during The Capital gets their song request played on the air, no matter how weird it gets.
- The Prairie Lily Special (6-8pm): Classic and historical country and related genres. “Four Star Records Week”, continuing the month-long theme while playing some of the label’s greatest rockin’ sides during Rockabilly Boogie Time.
- Orange Whip (8-10pm): Strange yet great music selections by hosts Jordan and Matthew.
Special show prize: Materials include: An Information Package detailing what the Honorary Patron is actually getting for their pledge + A signed and framed Certificate of Merit + 6 high-gloss posters for their personal use + an engraved picture frame to hold the winner’s photo (to be hung somewhere at the station)

- Apna Regina (9-10pm): Conversation in Hindi and Urdu and contemporary Pakistani music, hosted by University of Regina students Ahmed Cheema and Hassan Siddiqui. Apna Regina means “our Regina” in English.

- The Rok Boutique / Serendipity (7-10pm): A 3 hour mashup of the Rock Boutique and Serendipity, hosts British Bazz, Kent Rocks, and Jordan your DJ bring you loud denim and sweet harmonies!
- Synesthesia (10-11pm): Devo presents an hour of “Anti-Drops.” Anti-Drops are an ongoing trend in electronic music wherein songs build up to an expected climax or “drop,” only to give listeners an anticlimactic experience or complete nothingness. While this may sound dry and unexciting, this method of songwriting has pushed producers to new levels of creativity and bass design and has challenged the dominant, long-standing tropes of electronic music.

- Scotland Calling (1-3pm): Hour one: Ceilidh Capers ‘EXTRA’ -A radio ‘first’ meet the ‘8 some reelers’ of Regina Scottish Country Dancers + ‘Highland Fling’-the nimble and nifty world of RHDA the Regina Highland Dancing Association(the folks who stage the annual Scottish Pavilion!). Hour Two -Guest Piper: Pipe Major Iain MacDonald-City of Regina Pipe Band Association + Guest Fiddler: Mitchell Dureault-fiddler, violinist, teacher, entertainer-the guy with the ‘cigar box fiddles’.
- Muzyka Ukraine (3-4pm): Muzyka Ukraine focuses on the best of Ukrainian classics and pop. All Canadian edition!
- The Bridge (4-6pm): Special guest host Brady Frank (and CJTR Top 30 chart editor) selects all the best tunes!
- Spoiler Alert (6-7pm): A show about movies with Geremy, Sonia and Sean! This week they discuss the worst film ever made, The Room (2003). Donate to hear your hosts’ guilty pleasures, and share some of yours!

EVENT: My Electric Walking + Listening Party for Radiothon 2019 Walk in beautiful Wascana Park while listening to ambient soundscapes and drones courtesy of My Electric (7-9pm) on 91.3FM CJTR, Regina Community Radio during Radiothon 2019! Get outside, enjoy the dark of autumn and share a radio listening experience. Live performance by Pulsewidth from 7:30-8:30pm on air and via streaming. To listen along: download the RadioPlayer Canada app (select CJTR) or bring a Walkman, etc. Meet at 7:15pm at the Science Centre on the walking path. Walk from 7:30-8:30pm. Route: walk from Science Centre, through Candy Cane Park, through the disc golf part of Douglas Park to the ring road and back. Rain or shine. If it is very unpleasant the outdoor aspect of event will be postponed but the radio show will still go on! Please check CJTR social media for updates. EVENT (Saturday, September 28): Dance Through The Decades – Radiothon Closing Dance Party! Dance the night away one decade at a time to music selected by CJTR radio hosts! Each hour of the Dance Through the Decades wrap-up party will feature a different CJTR host deejaying music from a different decade. Era-specific fancy/prom dress is encouraged but not required. Win prizes for best costumes! Get crowned as prom royalty!

Help make CJTR available “on demand” by donating during RADIOTHON 2019!
IT’S TRUE; YOU READ THAT RIGHT: the goal of this year’s RADIOTHON fundraiser is to rocket our locally produced, people-powered radio into the future!
Our fundraising goal is $16,500 which is much needed to overhaul our website and mobile app so that all of our shows are available on demand to stream and download. We will also update some much-needed software for our on-air production. These are exciting and critical advancements to make all of our incredible programs available to everyone whenever and wherever they want to listen.
Radiothon runs from Friday, September 20 and runs until September 27, 2019.
