The Plain A.I.R. (November 2018) artist-in-residence is multi-instrumentalist performer, songwriter, educator, and producer, Brady Frank. Join Brady every Saturday in November from 3-4pm for his program entitled ‘Permafrost’, where he gives in depth review of a different Canadian album each week.
About Brady Frank:
Brady Frank, is a multi-instrumentalist performer, songwriter, educator, and producer who is best known for his work with Regina indie-rock band Bears in Hazenmore. Growing out of a small, but compelling music scene in Swift Current SK, Brady emerged with bands Bears in Hazenmore (lead vocals guitar, keys, trombone) and The Moon Runners (bass). Now relocated to Regina SK since 2012, he’s toured Canada extensively and released records with the two projects. Brady also co-produced singer-songwriter Megan Nash’s album Seeker which was voted by SaskMusic as 2017s best album and has toured Canada as part of her backing band. He also works as a session musician having recording with Sask acts such as Del Suelo and Nick Faye and the Deputies in the past. In addition to his work as a performer, Brady works as a music educator teaching in schools and co-organizing a music camp each summer.

????????????Plain A.I.R.is an artist-in-residence radio program that airs on 91.3FM CJTR, Regina’s community radio station. Each month the program features a different local artist, DJ, musician, band or community member as a guest host who programs a month’s worth of live, weekly radio shows.
The program airs Saturday afternoons from 3-4pm between January and June (Season 1) and September and December (Season 2) in 2018.
