The Sâkêwêwak Annual Storytellers Festival
In celebration of Indigenous History Month, we’re pleased to rebroadcast the Sâkêwêwak First Nations Artists’ Collective Inc. Storytellers Festival for the Plain A.I.R. program, every Saturday in June from 3-4pm. The Sâkêwêwak Annual Storytellers Festival is a community based, multidisciplinary arts showcase featuring Indigenous storytelling. Storytelling is a traditional method used to teach about cultural beliefs, values, customs, rituals, history, practices, relationships, and ways of life. Tune in every Saturday in June from 3-4pm for these teachings. Hosted and produced by Dale Mac Music!
