Mike Rollo’s: The Soundtrack to My Life
The Plain A.I.R. artist-in-residence this month (October 2019) is Mike Rollo! For his month on air, Mike presents a series called ‘The Soundtrack to My Life: Four Decades’. Each week Mike will play music from a different decade of his life to reflect on how it has influenced him and to examine through lines across the years. Mike Rollo is Assistant Professor in the Department of Film at the University of Regina and an award-winning filmmaker. Tune in every Saturday in October from 3-4pm for The Soundtrack to My Life!
???? ???? What happens when radio is considered a creative space similar to a laboratory, studio or venue, supporting expression and experimentation?
???? ???? ???? Plain A.I.R.is an artist-in-residence radio program that airs on 91.3FM CJTR, Reginaβs community radio station. Each month the program features a different local artist, DJ, musician, band or community member as a guest host who programs a monthβs worth of live, weekly radio shows.
The program airs Saturday afternoons from 3-4pm between January and June (Season 1) and September and December (Season 2) in 2019.
