“The Radiant on Plain A.I.R.” is presented by Saskatoon band The Radiant. On their five Plain A.I.R. episodes, they’ll lead the listener through some of the music that influences the members of the band, focusing in on fellow Saskatchewan artists, and other indie bands making waves in the industry. They’ll chat about covers, and even do a throwback to some of the songs on the Big Shiny Tunes compilations!

The Radiant are five buds from Saskatoon, who have created incredibly heavy-hitting alternative rock music over the last five years. Their sound is energetic, but they don’t shy away from a psychedelic vibe. It’s something you can get lost in. Alongside the powerhouse vocals of Mikhaila Anderson, The Radiant blends rhythmic guitars, groovy bass lines, spacey synth and a solid beat to keep it all together.

The Radiant released their debut self-titled EP June 15th, 2019, and received a great response from their community, reaching #2 on CFCR 90.5 FM’s “Weekly Top Ten” in September 2019. Their newest single “Project Mastermind” came out in late 2020, and they look forward to ramping up live shows in 2022.
