Plain A.I.R. (October): Regina Folk Festival Drive-In Concerts
The Plain A.I.R. (October 2020) returning artist-in-residence is the Regina Folk Festival! This month we will air live recordings of the drive-in concerts presented by the Regina Folk Festival and Summer Bash this past August, featuring live music by Ava Wild, Marshall Burns, Bree and Brown, Megan Nash and the Best of Intensions, Davy Sage, and Andino Suns.
Tune in every Saturday in October from 3-4pm to listen and as well as cjtr.ca for the broadcast archive!
π π What happens when radio is considered a creative space similar to a laboratory, studio or venue, supporting expression and experimentation?
π π π Plain A.I.R.is an artist-in-residence radio program that airs on 91.3FM CJTR, Reginaβs community radio station. Each month the program features a different local artist, DJ, musician, band or community member as a guest host who programs a monthβs worth of live, weekly radio shows. The program airs Saturday afternoons from 3-4pm between January and June (Season 1) and September and December (Season 2) in 2020.
