Borderlines is a weekly exploration of neo-traditional country, alternative country, contemporary hard country and country-folk, with occasional dashes of blues, singer-songwriter folk, jazz-related roots music, folk-rock and lots more. Our mission is to showcase the musical genre that Irish and Scottish settlers bequeathed to the New World, and to demonstrate the musical quality and literacy of the work of hundreds and thousands of lesser-known country artists who will not let their work be dragged down to the level of current major-label country. No “hat acts” or country-pop here – just a two-hour weekly tour of the best of the real thing!
